Buklod ng Panginoon Second Quarter 2018 Activities
Last May 25, Buklod ng Panginoon of St. Ignatius Village rendered free dental services to the feeding program beneficiaries of Barangay Libis, consisting of 30 Libis children at the Bgy. Libis Health Center. The dental mission was headed by Dr. Cory Alviar-de los Santos, daughter of BNP president Cita Pabillo, and included Dra. Voleth Estrellado.
More recently, last June 6, the BNP conducted their annual outreach program for the children of Molave Youth Home. The Home houses over 300 youth and juvenile offenders and is under the auspices of the QC Social Services Development Department which provides food, shelter, counseling, and education. The BNP team, consisting of Cita Pabillo, Tiny Perfecto, Evelyn Sumbillo, and Agnes dela Cruz, sang and danced with the Molave children.
Another outreach activity was held last April 11 at the Home for the Aged, Luwalhati ng Maynila in Marikina City.
Headed by Buklod president Cita Pabillo, the outreach team consisting of Lulay dela Cruz, Myrna Delena, Fe Reyes, Baby Banal, Fe Yap, Evelyn Sumbillo, Tiny Perfecto and Agnes dela Cruz, distributed snacks, bathroom cleaning materials, and loot bags for the 400-plus elders of the Center. The BNP delegation even danced with the super-seniors.
