San Jose Seminary Receives PPC Donation

At the February 16 Parish Pastoral Council meeting, the CTK Vocation Ministry, headed by Louie Laudico and Anna Lagman, presented Peter Banico,

Worship Ministry co-head and Executive Director of San Jose Seminary, a check for P50,000 representing the ministry’s donation towards the board and lodging for one semester for one seminarian. This had been one of the approved projects of the Vocation Ministry for 2019.

A week later, the Vocation Ministry received an acknowledgment and thank you letter from Fr. Renato Repole SJ, Rector of San Jose Seminary. In the letter, Fr. Repole said ‘We are deeply touched and our spirits enriched and inspired by your continuous generosity to San Jose Seminary. We raise our voices in supplication as we lift you and your family’s aspirations, hopes and concerns to our loving Father in heaven.’

In the same PPC meeting, Fr. Steve talked to the PPC members about the leadership nomination process that he had designed, in consultation with the Parish Pastoral Officers. He also elaborated on the timeline for the revised annual parish planning process.
