Fatima 2017: Mary’s Triumph, Our Hope, a Final Warning

The CTK Stewardship team in cooperation with Diwanihan Kristiyano sponsored a talk by Dr. Peter Howard, internationally known author and speaker, last July 11 from 8 to 10 pm at the CTK Formation Center. The talk was entitled ‘Fatima 2017: 100 Years Later – Mary’s Triumph, Our Hope, A Final Warning’.

Dr. Howard pointed out that 1917 was the year that launched a great Marian revolution that would forever change the world. A hundred years ago in the tiny hamlet of Fatima, Portugal, the Blessed Mother appeared to the three children with a message of a warning, hope, and a promised triumph over evil. She singled out that consecration to her Immaculate Heart would be the means to bring it about. So this needs to be number one in our family priorities, according to Dr. Howard.

In a prayerful environment last July 11, Dr. Howard led the attendees through the heart of the message of Fatima, explaining the biblical and theological foundations that have motivated the great saints of the Church to live and preach total consecration to Mary as the secret to the greatest possible holiness, to defeating Satan, and disposing souls and families to the most dynamic life in the Holy Spirit so that they can in turn be powerful leaders for the new evangelization.
