CTK Commissions 16 New Extraordinary Ministers

Sixteen new Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion, or EMHC, were commissioned last Sunday, August 27 at the 5 pm mass officiated by none other than Fr. Bong Tupino, CTK parish priest. With the addition of the 16 new members, there are now 96 active EMHCs.

Led by Albert Cuadrante, the EMHC had been looking for new candidates since June. A new twist in the EMHC recruitment drive was to ask the lectors and commentators, who are mostly female, if their husbands might be interested, and this strategy yielded several candidates.

The Final list of names were submitted in late July and the Basic Formation for new EMHCs was held as scheduled last August 19.
