The Christmas Vigil Mass last December 24th was celebrated with significant drama. The Christmas Eve masses were held at 6 pm, 8 pm, and 10 pm.

Co-celebrated by Fr. Bong Tupino and Fr. Ronald Plomillo, offered by the CTK Parish Pastoral Council and sung to by the CTK Youth Choir, the 10 pm mass, the one that drew the biggest crowd, began with ‘lights out’ as a group of selected Libis and village children led the offertory, carrying lighted candles.

The children, all dressed in white, then went up the stairs to light up the belen and, on cue, the church lights turned on. Fr. Bong Tupino then blessed the belen.

At the end of the mass, the blessed image of the Baby Jesus was held up by the assisting deacon for veneration by the parishioners.
