Fr. Steve Celebrates First Birthday in the CTK Parish

Last March 6, Fr. Steve Zabala, CTK’s parish priest, celebrated his birthday with an early morning birthday mass at 6am, followed by a light breakfast reception at the rectory veranda. It was Fr. Steve’s 52nd birthday. His birthday is actually on March 5, but he decided to hold it a day earlier so it wouldn’t conflict with the Ash Wednesday masses.

Concelebrating with Fr. Steve at his birthday mass were CTK priests Bishop Raul Martirez, Msgr. Tony Mortillero, and Fr. Jojo Gatdula, together with guest priest Fr. Henry Ferreras, former parish priest of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, and Msgr. Dan Sta Maria, former CTK parish priest (2006-2012) and recently-retired Vicar General of the Diocese of Cubao.

A breakfast reception followed, attended by nearly a hundred CTK and former parishioners of Fr. Steve.
