January 20 saw the CTK Family & Life Ministry stage the ‘Pastoral Accompaniment for Persons Experiencing Same Sex Attraction’. Every last Wednesday of the month, the Greenmeadows 1 Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) group headed by Eileen de Leon, sponsors a formation talk at one of the function rooms of First GreenMeadows clubhouse. Fr. Steve Celebrates First Birthday in the CTK Parish

Last March 6, Fr. Steve Zabala, CTK’s parish priest, celebrated his birthday with an early morning birthday mass at 6am, followed by a light breakfast reception at the rectory veranda. It was Fr. Fr. Bong Tupino Installed at Holy Sacrifice Parish in UP Diliman

Fr. Bong Tupino, former CTK parish priest, was the last of the Cubao diocese priests to be formally ‘installed’. Candles Blessed at Feast of Presentation of the Lord

Monsignor Antonio Mortillero led the traditional Blessing of Candles last February 2, a Saturday, as the parish celebrated the Feast of Presentation of the Lord. LeCom Beth Monedero kicked off the gathering with the introductory reading. The Greeters and Collectors liturgical Ministry held its first catechism class last December 30, 2018 at St. John C Room. The GreCol group is headed by Jeanette Cagurangan as Lead Coordinator, Marites Turingan as assistant Coordinator, Narcing Malatuba as Treasurer, Cora dela Cruz as Secretary, Cathy Botero as Assistant Secretary, and with Beth Monedero as adviser. Ladies of Charity Mounts Home Care Livelihood Project at Barangay Libis

The Ladies of Charity mounted its first livelihood program for 2019 last January 23 at Barangay Libis. 25 Libis participants attended the first day of the seminar-workshop, held at the Libis Barangay Hall. The program would continue every Wednesday and Friday, whole day from 8 am to 5 pm, until the end of March. Like most of the livelihood programs of the LOC, this is being held in coordination with TESDA and the Quezon City Social Services and Development Division. LOC Brings Joy to St. Martin de Porres Orphans

Last February 16, on the occasion of Chef Jessie Sincioco’s birthday, the Ladies of Charity team trekked to Angat, Bulacan to assist LOC member Jessie in serving lunch to more than 150 orphans of ‘Bahay at Yaman ni San Martin de Porres’. The Ladies of Charity also donated a small amount to the orphanage, which is headed by Fr. Boyet Gutierrez.
