Record Number of LOC Scholars Graduate From College
For the first time, Christ the King had a record number of seven college graduates who received their baccalaureate degrees this summer. Although they will have different graduation dates, all of them will have graduated before the end of May. Four of the seven were introduced to the Parish Pastoral Council at the April 13 PPC meeting. The seven graduating college scholars included:
- Jamille Joy Macaraeg, PUP, BSBA major in HRM minor in Service Management
- Anne Shaine Gonzales, PUP, Bachelor in Banking and Finance
- Ma. Angelyn Magsumbol, PUP, BS Tourism Management
- Kim Andrea de Gracia, EARIST, BS Industrial Psychology (academic excellence)
- Jay Lyndon Baun, Marikina Polytechnic, BA Technical Teacher Education
- John Edmon Atienza, PUP, BA Marketing Management
- Ronnel Balbuena, PUP, Bachelor in Banking and Finance
With the exception of de Gracia, all of them are either from Bagumbayan or Libis. De Gracia used to live in Libis before her family relocated to Project 4.
All seven graduates had thank you messages for CTK Parish Greenmeadows and the Ladies of Charity.
I promise to con5nue giving inspiration and serve God with all my heart.’
‣ Anne Shaine Gonzales had message, ‘I’m so honored and very grateful to be part of the Ladies of Charity scholars family. Thank you so much for the support, love, and spiritual guidance.’
‣ Ronnel Balbuena also expressed his thanks. ‘My educa5onal pursuits would not be possible without your generous support. Throughout the en5re eight years of being a Ladies of Charity Scholar, I’ve learned a lot through the catechism in addi5on to all the lessons imparted by the ladies themselves. I truly believe I’ve become a beGer version of myself.’
At least three of the seven graduates had already found gainful employment as of presstime. Shaine Gonzales is a Risk Management Of(icer at Royal Lending Investors Corporation; Ronnel Balbuena is now a Management Trainee at the Insurance Institute for Asia and the Paci(ic; and Jay Baum is with Stage Designs, in charge of Marionette Events.
CTK congratulates all seven graduates!
