Each is encouraged to share time, talent, and treasure as a way of expressing one's gratitude for blessings received from the Lord. I. February 26 is Ash Wednesday, the start of the Lenten Season. a) Ash Wednesday is a day of universal fast and abstinence in the church. Fasting is required from ages 18 to 60, and abstinence is from age 14. b) Masses on Ash Wednesday will be at 6am, 7am, 12nn, 6pm & 730pm- all at the main church. c) Blessing & Imposition of Ashes will be within the celebration of the mass. No imposition of ashes after each mass.
