Buklod ng Panginoon, the renewal movement based in St. Ignatius Village, had a busy fourth quarter 2017.

Last October 23, 2017, Buklod ng Panginoon held a Halloween celebration for Barangay Libis children beneQiciaries of Buklod’s feeding program. BNP president Cita Pabillo was supported in the activity by members Evelyn Sumbillo, Carol Marana, Tiny Perfecto, Rose Famanila, and Agnes dela Cruz.

Then last November 7, 2017, Buklod had its annual outreach program at the Molave Youth Home, inside the compound of Quezon City Hall, where 200 juvenile offenders are housed. BnP visited Molave at 3 pm, providing counseling services before distributing food and electric fans. As a sign of gratitude, the Molave youth did a song and dance number. Cita Pabillo was assisted at Molave by BNP members Evelyn Sumbillo, Norma Chico, Tiny Perfecto and Agnes dela Cruz.

Buklod also hosts a weekly Bible study, Lecio Divina, mentored by Fr. Serge Maniba every Tuesdays at 5:20 pm at the SIV Community Center.

Last February 10, Buklod ng Panginoon sponsored a morning-only free medical check-up via ProHealth for St. Ignatius Village (SIV) residents at their community center.

On February 27, Buklod ng Panginoon members took time off from mission duties to undertake a pilgrimage to St. Peter’s Parish Shrine of Leaders in Commonwealth Avenue before enjoying a picnic lunch at La Mesa Eco Park.
