LOC Brings Joy to St. Martin de Porres Orphans

Last February 16, on the occasion of Chef Jessie Sincioco’s birthday, the Ladies of Charity team trekked to Angat, Bulacan to assist LOC member Jessie in serving lunch to more than 150 orphans of ‘Bahay at Yaman ni San Martin de Porres’. The Ladies of Charity also donated a small amount to the orphanage, which is headed by Fr. Boyet Gutierrez.

Jessie Sincioco is one of the most well- known chefs in the local culinary world and had regularly volunteered her services for special parish occasions. It will be recalled that she was handpicked to cook for His Holiness Pope Francis during his four- day visit to the Philippines in 2015. She continues to run Top of the Citi in Makati, Rockwell Club, and Chef Jessie Grill at The Grove.
