Summer Youth PREX at CTK

The CTK Youth Ministry held its Youth Parish Renewal Experience, from the evening of May 25 until the evening of May 27. As in previous years, venue was the entire ground floor of the Formation Center. This was open to all single youth ages 17-30. This organization aims to bring other people, specifically the youth, to renew their relationship with the Lord and to build a stronger foundation with Him. Newly-Renovated CTK Perpetual Adoration Chapel Reopened

Fr. Bong Tupino led the reopening and blessing of the newly-renovated Perpetual Adoration Chapel last June 3 at 7 am, during the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, right after the 6 am mass. after reciting the blessing prayer, Fr. Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Holy Rosary, and Flower Offering Mark Flores de Mayo Masses

CTK’s Flores de Mayo season kicked off last May 1. Daily Flores de Mayo masses had been scheduled by the parish, with lay organizations, PPC ministries, and villages being tapped to sponsor one of the 31 daily masses. The May 1 mass also included the incensation of the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary. For the masses held at the main church, sponsoring organizations were asked to provide two prayer leaders for the Chaplet and the Rosary. Flores de Mayo Cathechism Classes for Libis Kids 7-12 Years Old

The Catechetical Ministry co-headed by Alma Yeh and Sheryl Coronel mounted the annual Flores de Mayo catechism classes for Libis and Bagumbayan youth, held during the children’s summer break. The theme for the 2018 summer catechetical classes was Biblical characters, with special emphasis on the life and times of Jesus Christ. Public Affairs Ministry Links Up With PPCRV

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting, or PPCRV, through PPCRV veteran Augie Soliman and CTK’s Public Affairs Ministry, through ministry head Jing Alampay, took center stage during the May 14 barangay and SK elections last May 14. The call for volunteers by PPCRV CTK chapter chairman Augie Soliman was met with enthusiastic response. Mustard Seed’s Newly-Formed Children’s Choir Gets 4th Sunday 10:30 am Mass Slot 

Christ the King Parish Greenmeadows now has a children’s choir! The CTK Children’s Choir, under the supervision of the Mustard Seed Ministry headed by Sonny and Mina Mejia, had their maiden performance last April 22, the fourth Sunday of April, during the 10:30 am mass at the main church presided by Fr. CTK Ladies of Charity’s Second Quarter 2018 Activities

The CTK Ladies of Charity’s livelihood project scholars had their ‘graduation’ last April 3. The 26 graduates completed the Hilot Massage training and had their mass graduation ceremony at the Inner Lobby of Quezon City Hall. LOC had teamed up with QC’s Social Services Development Department, Vocational Development Division, to offer the training to Barangays Libis and Bagumbayan residents. The 26 graduates were accompanied by LOC representatives Tonette Arrizabal, Beth Monadero, Nars Malatuba, and Maritess Turingan. Last May 25, Buklod ng Panginoon of St. Ignatius Village rendered free dental services to the feeding program beneficiaries of Barangay Libis, consisting of 30 Libis children at the Bgy. Libis Health Center. The dental mission was headed by Dr. Cory Alviar-de los Santos, daughter of BNP president Cita Pabillo, and included Dra. Voleth Estrellado.
