The Christ the King lectors and commentator group were invited to attend the first General Assembly last Saturday, February 25, the first of four scheduled for the calendar year. As a requirement, all of CTK’s 150 lectors commentators are expected to attend at least one assembly. January 29 saw the second and 2inal group of lectors and commentators get commissioned at the 6:30 pm Sunday mass by Fr. Bong Tupino. As he did last December 4 when the 2irst group of over a hundred lectors-commentators were being commissioned, Fr. Bong told the congregation that the ‘lecoms' had gone through the renewal seminar, attended various formation talks, and were voluntari ly recommit t ing themselves to be proclaimers of God’s Word.
