CTK Parish Greenmeadows hosted the first Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Vicariate General Assembly for 2019 last February 18. Delegates totalled 110, with each of the seven parishes under the vicariate, including CTK, sending from 5 to 20 PPC officers each. Specifically, San Roque sent 20, Nativity of the Lord 20, Perpetual Help had 19, Christ the King had 17, Our Lady of Miraculous Medal sent 16, and Transfiguration of Our Lord with 5 participants. Fr. Steve Zabala gave the Welcome Remarks while Fr. Larry Garces of the San Roque Parish delivered the Closing Prayer.

Johnny Liao from the Mt. Carmel Shrine and head of the Policies and Structures Secretariat gave the briefing on the Diocese of Cubao Eight-Point Priority Agenda.It was clear from theAbove, Johnny Liao delivers the DCPA8 orientation. Below, Fr. answers to Mr. Liao’sLarry Garces of San Roque Parish raises a point. questions that nearly everyone in the audience was very familiar with the eight point agenda primer content. He revealed that a lot of diocese volunteers from the different parishes had been working on the priority agenda since the primer was released and that there was now a detailed set of implementing rules, guidelines, regulations and suggestions around each of the eight agenda items. But this assembly was specifically to provide a general orientation. On April 8, Agenda 5 and 6 will be discussed at the Perpetual Help vicariate assembly, Agenda 1 and 2 on June 17, Agenda 3 and 4 on August 12, and Agenda 7 and 8 on October 14.

Among those spotted at the vicariate assembly were CTK PPC members Fely and David Ong, Maan del Rosario, Betsy Tenchavez, Mila Bangco, Lulay dela Cruz, and Bing and Elise del Rosario.

Before February 18 at CTK for the OLHP Vicariate, three other vicariates had already done their assemblies – February 12 by the San Pedro Bautista Vicariate; February 13 by the St. Joseph Vicariate; and February 15 by the Holy Family Vicariate. Following CTK, the Vicariate of Sto. Niño Vicariate held its general assembly the next day, February 19 while the Vicariate of Sta. Rita de Cascia had theirs February 20.
