The Mother Butler Mission Guild Manila to which the MBMG CTK belongs held an exhibit of vestments, stoles, altar linens, vessels, mass kits, and sick call kits last November 5 and November 6 at the San Carlos Seminary in Guadalupe. The exhibit was timed to coincide with the seminary homecoming, with the materials on display to be given for free to ‘homecomers’ coming from the poor parishes in the Philippines, especially provincial ones. Ladies of Charity Extends Help to Young, Scholars, Elderly, Poor and Inmates

Last September 27, in celebration of both the anniversary of the Lingap Lolas program as well as the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul, patron saint of the Ladies of Charity, the Ladies of Charity- CTK Chapter held a celebration at the Matthew-Mark Rooms. The Lingap Lolas, consisting of super-elderly from the Libis community who had been adopted by LOC for nearly a decade, prepared a special dance number. Buklod ng Panginoon Extends Helping Hand to Pre-Schoolers, PDLs and the Elderly

Last November 13, Buklod ng Panginoon, or BnP, the St. Ignatius-based renewal movement, held their ‘Spreading the Joy’ Day at the Marikina Home for the Aged. Flying the Buklod ng Panginoon flag at the event were BnP President Cita Pabillo, Baby Banal, Puring Litaua, Evelyn Sumbillo, and Agnes dela Cruz. The Libis community celebrated its First Friday Street Mass last December 7, with none other than Fr. Steve Zabala officiating. This was Fr. Fr. Steve Leads Holy Land Pilgrimage

Our very own Fr. Steve Zabala led a pilgrimage starting last October 26 to the Holy Land: Off the Beaten Path, that took the 30-plus pilgrims, which included the entire extended family of Acropolis village coordinator Anne del Rosario to Israel, Jordan, Palestine and Egypt. PPC Concludes 2019 Planning and Budgeting

In a whole-day marathon last October 13 at the Eugenio Lopez Center, the CTK Parish Pastoral Council met to present, discuss and review the 2019 parish pastoral plans and budgets. The meeting, which lasted from 9 am to 6 pm, was the culmination of a full week of intensive meetings, from September 17 to 22, by Fr. Steve and the Parish Pastoral Officers led by treasurer couple Bing and Elise del Rosario, with the individual ministries and mandated organizations- renewal movements regarding the ministry-org-movement’s proposed plans and budgets. Mustard Seed Stages Volunteers Workshop

Last September 29, the CTK Children’s Ministry, more popularly known as the Mustard Seed Ministry, led by couple Sonny and Mina Mejia, held a Volunteers’ Workshop conducted by the Ateneo Catechetical Instructional League, or ACIL. One of the volunteers, Ryanna Polancos, daughter of Family and Life Ministry head couple Regie and Joanne Polancos, is an active member of the ACIL. CTK Bids Goodbye to Fr. Bong Tupino

Fr. Bong Tupino was given a rousing despedida dinner by parish volunteers last June 8, after the 6 pm mass. Given the maximum capacity at the Parish Formation Center second floor, the Parish Pastoral Council had to limit the number of attendees per mandated organization, prayer movement, ministry and village-BEC. Fr. Steve Zabala, the incoming parish priest of Christ the King Parish Greenmeadows, held his first official mass last June 17 at 9 am.
